COLUMBIA, Mo., April 16, 2026 — The Missouri FFA Association recognizes members who executed research in an agricultural area in the Agriscience Fair at the 98th Missouri FFA Convention. This award honors students who participated in a research-based supervised agricultural experience program.

 

This area involves the study of animal systems, including life processes, health, nutrition, genetics, management and processing through the study of small animals, aquaculture, livestock, dairy, horses and poultry. BTC Bank is the sponsor of this award.

 

The Division 3 winner is Regan Cornie from the Pettius County FFA Chapter. The chapter advisor is Katelyn Burns.

The Division 4 winners are Taylor Peniston and Addison Jamison from the Chillicothe FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Lance Martin, Randy Plattner, Cyrsten Sarbaugh, Michael Slater and Neal Wolf.

The Division 5 winner is Gracie Pulley from the Pleasant Hope FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Zach Funk and David Parrack.

The Division 6 winners are Jayden Decker and Jensen Decker from the Centralia FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Kendra Smith and Scott Stone.

 

The National FFA Agriscience Fair allows students to engage in the use of scientific principles and emerging technologies as a solution to complex issues related to agriculture, food and natural resource systems.

 

The Missouri Agriscience Fair winners will compete in the National FFA Agriscience Fair. Winners will be announced this fall at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.

The Missouri FFA has 27,000 members representing 369 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,042,245 members representing 9,407 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
