COLUMBIA, Mo., April 16, 2026 – Gage Allen Davis of Nelson won the Missouri FFA Agricultural Sales – Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award at the 98th Missouri FFA Convention.

Davis, a senior at Marshall High School, is the son of Derek and Lyndsey Davis. He is a member of the Marshall FFA Chapter. His advisors are Katie Latimer, Jade Jenkins, and Trent Deppe.

For his supervised agricultural experience program, Davis operates AgDash, an agricultural business focused on producing and selling wildlife feed products. His business offers birdseed, critter corn, deer mineral and food plot blends in various sizes, along with services such as delivery and feeder fill-ups. He markets products through social media, farmers’ markets, trade shows and wholesale partnerships with local businesses. Davis also expanded his operation to include purchasing, refurbishing and reselling agricultural equipment.

Throughout his experience, Davis grew AgDash from a small local project into a statewide business. He expanded his customer base, increased product offerings and developed relationships with both retail and wholesale customers while responding to customer feedback and demand.

After graduation, Davis plans to attend State Fair Community College to study agribusiness while continuing to grow AgDash. He plans to further expand the business and apply his education to improve management, marketing and long-term growth.

Proficiency awards recognize FFA members who excel as agricultural entrepreneurs, employees, or volunteers while gaining hands-on career experience. Agricultural Sales – Entrepreneurship is one of 46 proficiency award areas recognized at the state level. BTC Bank sponsored this award.
