Campbell wins Agricultural Sales Placement Proficiency

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 16, 2026 – Andrew Campbell of Avalon won the Missouri FFA Agricultural Sales – Placement Proficiency Award at the 98th Missouri FFA Convention.

Campbell, a senior at Southwest Livingston High School, is the son of Derek and Teresa Campbell. He is a member of the Chillicothe FFA Chapter. His advisors are Lance Martin, Randy Plattner, Cyrsten Sarbaugh, Michael Slater and Neal Wolf.

For his supervised agricultural experience program, Campbell worked for CEM Photo Workshop, a business that sells tractors and hydraulic parts acquired from damaged and lost freight. He evaluated products to determine value, created online listings with descriptions and photos, and managed packaging and shipping for customer orders. Through this work, he gained experience in product evaluation, online marketing, sales and inventory management.

Throughout his experience, Campbell progressed from assisting with inventory relocation to organizing products, creating listings and managing order fulfillment. His expanded responsibilities allowed him to play a key role in maintaining efficient operations and meeting customer needs.

After graduation, Campbell plans to work for T&R Soil as an agricultural operations crew member. He will continue building his skills in equipment operation and agricultural systems while applying the knowledge gained through his SAE.

Proficiency awards recognize FFA members who excel as agricultural entrepreneurs, employees or volunteers while gaining hands-on career experience. Agricultural Sales – Placement is one of 46 proficiency award areas recognized at the state level. BTC Bank sponsored this award.The Missouri FFA has 27,000 members representing 369 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,042,245 members representing 9,407 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
