COLUMBIA, Mo., April 17, 2026 — The Missouri FFA Association named Megan Shepherd an Honorary State FFA Degree recipient at the 98th Missouri FFA Convention.
Shepherd currently works as a sales representative for 4 Seasons Fund Raising and is a life long supporter of agricultural education and the FFA organization. A former member of the Moberly FFA Chapter, she was actively involved in FFA throughout her high school career, including competing on a national-level livestock judging team in 1999. She is also a graduate of the Missouri Agribusiness Academy and has a degree in agricultural education from the University of Missouri.
Shepherd served eight years as an agricultural educator and FFA advisor, where she mentored students, supported chapter success, and contributed to statewide initiatives. During her time in education, she served as a state teacher mentor and was involved with both the State Fair Committee and Career Development Events Committee. In 2006, she was the recipient of the Jess Clonts Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding First Year Ag Educator in Missouri.
Since moving into the fundraising industry in 2014, Shepherd has remained involved in FFA by helping chapters achieve their financial goals. She continues to support Missouri FFA through judging leadership development events, assisting students in competition preparation, and mentoring first year agriculture teachers, particularly in the area of program and chapter financial organization.
The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary State FFA Degree include individuals who have demonstrated outstanding support for agricultural education and FFA, including educators, business professionals, and community leaders.
The Missouri FFA has 27,000 members representing 369 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,042,245 members representing 9,407 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
