COLUMBIA, Mo., April 16, 2026 — The Missouri FFA Association recognizes members who executed research in an agricultural area in the Agriscience Fair at the 98th Missouri FFA Convention. This award honors students who participated in a research-based supervised agricultural experience program.

 

This area involves the study of systems, instruments and technology used to monitor and minimize the impact of human activity on environmental systems. Natural Resource Systems is the study of the management, protection, enhancement and improvement of soil, water, wildlife, forests and air as natural resources. BTC Bank is the sponsor of this award.

 

The Division 3 winner is Elizabeth Boggs from the Tuscumbia FFA Chapter. The chapter advisor is Sara White.

The Division 4 winners are Chason Satterfield and Vincent Conger from the Rolla FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Cord Jenkins and Randy Stockstill.

The Division 5 winner is Madison Cole from the School of the Osage FFA Chapter. The chapter advisor is Jacob Blank.

The Division 6 winners are Ellie Samek and Garrett Samek from the Bolivar FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Ashley Brown and Jason King

 

The National FFA Agriscience Fair allows students to engage in the use of scientific principles and emerging technologies as a solution to complex issues related to agriculture, food and natural resource systems.

 

The Missouri Agriscience Fair winners will compete in the National FFA Agriscience Fair. Winners will be announced this fall at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.

The Missouri FFA has 27,000 members representing 369 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,042,245 members representing 9,407 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
