Power, Structure, and Technical Systems Agriscience Fair Award

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 16, 2026 — The Missouri FFA Association recognizes members who executed research in an agricultural area in the Agriscience Fair at the 98th Missouri FFA Convention. This award honors students who participated in a research-based supervised agricultural experience program.

This area involves the study of agricultural equipment, power systems, alternative fuel sources, and precision technology, as well as woodworking, metalworking, welding, and project planning for agricultural structures. BTC Bank is the sponsor of this award.

The Division 3 winner is Henry Patterson from the Tuscumbia FFA Chapter. The chapter advisor is Sara White.

The Division 4 winners are  Alexis Peterman and Kaitlyn Turjillo from the Pleasant Hope FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Zach Funk and David Parrack.

The Division 6 winner is Lucy Conger and Isabel Morris from the Rolla FFA Chapter. The Chapter advisors are Cord Jenkins and Randy Stockstill.

The National FFA Agriscience Fair allows students to engage in the use of scientific principles and emerging technologies as a solution to complex issues related to agriculture, food, and natural resource systems.

The Missouri Agriscience Fair winners will compete in the National FFA Agriscience Fair. Winners will be announced this fall at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis

The Missouri FFA has 27,000 members representing 369 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,042,245 members representing 9,407 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
