Tucker of Buffalo FFA Chapter named State FFA Vice President

COLUMBIA Mo., April 16, 2026 – During the 98th Missouri FFA Convention, Jordan Tucker was named a 2026-2027 State FFA Vice President. Her parents are Wesley and Heather Tucker. Her advisors are Dixie Brickey and Joey Stokes.

Tucker’s supervised agricultural experience consists of diversified livestock production entrepreneurship, agriculture education and food science. During the summer she also has a placement SAE working to help offset the costs of her livestock enterprises.

She has also competed in leadership development events. She has competed in Division I Prepared Public Speaking, Division II Prepared Public Speaking and employment skills.

She also serves as vice president of National Honor Society and as a Buffalo High School Ambassador. She is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and Future Teachers of America. She also holds leadership roles as the National Jersey Wooly Rabbit Club Youth Liaison and West Central Youth Rabbit Club Vice President, while representing Buffalo FFA as a liaison for the Dallas County Cattlemen’s and Farm Bureau Associations.

After high school, she plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she plans to major in agriculture education and minor in animal science. She then plans to become an agricultural instructor and FFA Advisor. She also wants to continue running her generational family farm and continue shaping the next generations of youth.

The Missouri FFA has 27,000 members representing 369 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,042,245 members representing 9,407 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
