COLUMBIA, Mo., April 25, 2025 – The Missouri FFA Association awarded Sydnee Mason an Honorary State FFA Degree at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention.

A proud member of the Marshall FFA Chapter, Mason served as Missouri State FFA Secretary in both 2018 and 2019. Building upon this leadership foundation, she was selected as a facilitator from 2020 to 2024 on the National FFA State Officer Programs (SOP) Staff. In this role, Mason trained State FFA Officers across the country—including Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Arkansas, Hawaii, Virginia, and North Dakota—while also mentoring fellow SOP team members in curriculum development and facilitation.

The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary FFA Degree include farmers, school superintendents, principals, members of the board of education, chapter advisors, teachers, staff members in agricultural education, business professionals, and others who are helping to advance agricultural education and the FFA

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
