Arcadia Valley FFA places third in the Soy Innovation Challenge Scholarship

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 19, 2024 – The Arcadia Valley FFA Chapter received a Soy Innovation Challenge Scholarship at the 96th Missouri FFA Convention. The Arcadia Valley FFA advisor is Richard Brummett. The Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council hosted this challenge and sponsored the scholarship.

The Soy Innovation Challenge aims to engage FFA members in creating valuable exhibits and ideas based on the soy value chain to display at Missouri Soybeans’ Center for Soy Innovation in Jefferson City. 

The Soy Innovation Challenge is a two-part contest where chapters designed and developed an exhibit for the Center for Soy Innovation and submitted proposals for Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council to consider. The top four chapters traveled to the state’s capital to present to a panel of judges. The Arcadia Valley FFA Chapter received a $2,500 scholarship for their first place exhibit.

The Missouri FFA has 26,830 members representing 362 chapters. The national organization has more than 945,000 members representing 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
