Brandt receives Honorary State FFA Degree

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 19, 2024 – The Missouri FFA Association awarded Alfred Brandt an Honorary State FFA Degree at the 96th Missouri FFA Convention.
Brandt has hosted the Linn MOASK Dairy Cattle Career Development Event for 20 years. He serves as a school board member, Linn Lions Club member, and Osage County Fair Board member. Brandt also serves on the Dairy Farmer of America Resolutions Committee Board, is the past president of the Missouri Holstein Association, and is the current chairman of the State Milk Board. He now supports the FFA by supplying cows for contests and coaching contest teams.
The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary FFA Degree include farmers, school superintendents, principals, members of the board of education, chapter advisors, teachers, staff members in agricultural education, business professionals, and others who are helping to advance agricultural education and the FFA.
The Missouri FFA has 26,830 members representing 362 chapters. The national organization has more than 945,000 members representing 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
