Stolba of Willow Springs FFA Chapter named Missouri State FFA Vice President

COLUMBIA Mo., April 25, 2025 – During the 97th Missouri FFA Convention, Kolton Stolba was named a 2025-2026 State FFA Vice President. Stolba is a member of the Willow Springs FFA Chapter. His parents are Deedee and Gary Stolba. His advisors are Grant Talburt and Shiloh Walden.

Stolba’s supervised agriculture experience consists of being a reporter for FFA in the USA where he writes news stories for the National FFA Organization. He also is an employee on his family’s farming operation and owns angus cattle which he raises to sell and butcher.

He has competed in many different leadership development events, as well as career development events. These include FFA Creed Speaking, Division II Public Speaking where he took 2nd place at districts and competed at state, as well as receiving first place in the Missouri Soil and Water Conservation Speaking Contest. Stolba has also competed at the state level in the Entomology CDE.

In addition to FFA, Stolba serves as his Senior Class President and Secretary of Future Business Leaders of America. He also had the opportunity to serve as the student representative on the Board of Education. Stolba is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Bear Media Production, National Beta Club, golf team, yearbook, and tennis team. He is also a very active member of his church.

After graduating Stolba plans to grow his skills in agriculture communications and digital creation through graphic design, photography, and videography and provide these services to businesses and clients alike.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
