Maddux Rash of Buffalo FFA chapter named State Vice President

COLUMBIA Mo., April 24, 2025 – During the 97th Missouri FFA Convention, Maddux Rash was named 2025-2026 State FFA Vice President. Rash is a member of the Buffalo FFA Chapter. Her parents are Becky and Casey Rash. Her advisors are MaryAnn Boro and Joey Stokes.
Maddux Rash supervised agricultural experience program consists of goat production, market goat production, hog production, Rash Farms, Everson Farms, agricultural education and communication, and food service. Rash has served as the Greenhand Secretary, the Chapter Secretary, the Chapter Vice President, and she currently serves as the Area X President.
Rash has been a part of the Conduct of Chapter Meetings leadership development event, the Forestry career development event, and rated Group 1 Individual for Agronomy and Soils at the state level. She has also competed in the State Grassland Evaluation Contest becoming a two time qualifier for the National Land and Range contest and the Mid America Grassland Evaluation contest, where she ranked third in 2024. Rash works with Buffalo FFA Alumni as a liaison.
Rash has received awards through her chapter including the Outstanding Freshman and Sophomore award, the Leadership and Scholarship award, the Goat Production and Diverse Agriculture Production Proficiency award, and the Area X FFA Goat Production and Diverse Ag Production Proficiency award. She also participates in National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, student mentors, varsity volleyball, club volleyball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, mixed chorus, and youth group at her church.
Rash’s future plans include attending Ozarks Technical Community College then Oklahoma State University where she will pursue a degree in either natural resource ecology and management, agronomy and soil sciences, forestry, or conservation science.
The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
