Neely of Lockwood FFA Chapter named state vice president

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 24, 2025 – During the 97th Missouri FFA Convention, Annie Neely was named a 2025-2026 State FFA vice president. Neely’s parents are Jeremy Neely, Angie Whitesell, and Joseph Vukcevich. Neely’s advisor is Caleb Robertson
Neely’s supervised agriculture experience involves her Brangus cattle entrepreneurship operation. Within this entrepreneurship SAE, she is responsible for breaking, haltering, feeding and washing her show calves each year. In addition to her entrepreneurship SAE, Annie is a part of her local farm-to-table beef project group. This experience has allowed her to sell quality beef to members of her community.
As an FFA member, Neely has served as chapter vice president for two years in a row. She has also been involved in multiple leadership development events including Division 1 Prepared Public Speaking and Division 2 Prepared Public Speaking placing fourth and first at the state level, respectively. Neely was also a member of the 2023 National FFA Band.
In addition to FFA, Neely has been a member of Lockwood’s Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, Future Business Leaders of America, and Fellowship of Chirsitan Athletes chapters. She is also a participant in Lockwood High School’s band and volleyball program. Additionally, Neely is a member of the Busy Bee 4-H Chapter where she has served various positions within the chapters. She is currently serving in her second year as the Heart of America Brangus Association Princess.
Upon graduating high school, Neely plans to study nutrition and exercise physiology.
The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
