Lett of Odessa FFA Chapter named state vice president

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 24, 2025 – During the 97th Missouri FFA Convention, Abigale Lett was named a 2025-2026 State FFA Vice President. Her parents are Joshua and Michelle Lett. Lett’s advisors are Gene Collins and Austin Ray.

Lett’s supervised agriculture experience consists of growing and selling fall flowering mums. In addition to raising and selling mums, she has also previously held placement SAEs in the horticulture industry.

As an FFA member, Lett served as President, Vice President, and Historian of the Odessa FFA Chapter and as the sentinel of the Area VI FFA Association. She has also been involved in multiple leadership development events and career development events including Fall Public Speaking, Agronomy, and Nursery Landscape. Lett was selected as the winner of the Area VI Specialty Crop Proficiency Area.

In addition to FFA, Lett has been a member of National Honors Society, student council, history club, and Missouri Junior Cattlemen’s Association.

Upon graduating high school, Lett plans to study agriculture education.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
