Noah Groose of Dadeville FFA chapter named State Vice President

COLUMBIA Mo., April 24, 2025 – During the 97th Missouri FFA Convention, Noah Groose was named 2025-2026 State FFA Vice President. Groose is a member of the Dadeville FFA Chapter. Her parents are Casey and Ryan Groose. Her advisor is Jordan Buck.

Groose’s supervised agricultural experience program consists of an Angus operation. She purchases, feeds out, and sells them as beef. Groose also works for her family’s row-crop operation.

Throughout Groose’s FFA career she has served as Student Advisor, President, and Sentinel. She also served as 1st Vice President of the Area X FFA Association. Groose participated at the national level in the Entomology contest where her team placed third and she ranked Group 1 Individual. Groose competed at the state level in the Meats Evaluation contest and ranked Group 2 Individual. She was involved in the Southwest District Teach Ag Fall Speaking Contest and the FFA Knowledge and Agronomy contests at the district level.

Groose ranked first in Area X with her Agricultural Sales Entrepreneurship Proficiency and Agricultural Communications Proficiency applications. Groose’s chapter awarded her as Star Greenhand and Star in Agribusiness. She received the Leadership award from her chapter as well. Groose is Vice President of National Honor Society and Vice President of STAR Events of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America for her high school. Groose has been involved in various activities such as cheerleading, track, Dadeville Grow Your Own Teachers club, Missouri Junior Cattlemen’s Association, Washington University Rural Scholars Academy, and 4-H. She also volunteers for the Missouri Leadership Seminar, tutors elementary students, and is involved in her local church.

Groose’s future plans include pursuing a degree in Agriculture Education, teaching secondary agriculture classes in a rural community, and having a production agriculture operation.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
