COLUMBIA, Mo., April 24, 2025 – Chase Hall of Clarksville won the Missouri FFA Agricultural Services Proficiency Award at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention.

Chase Hall, a graduate of Clopton R-III High School, is the son of Jason and Lynn Hall. He is a member of the Clopton FFA Chapter, where he is guided by advisor Kaylee Conderman.

Hall’s supervised agricultural experience is centered around his own agricultural drone spraying business, Hall Ag Services, LLC. In his second year of ownership, Hall has expanded his business to provide drone-based application services to farmers in Northeast Missouri. His services include fungicide and pesticide applications as well as granular applications for cover crops, fertilizers, and other agricultural products. In 2023, Hall applied 6,500 acres, and in 2024, he more than doubled that, applying 13,500 acres for over 15 customers.

Chase’s SAE began as an employee for his brother and father’s business, but he quickly transitioned into ownership, leading his own division with a team of three drones. He manages all aspects of the business, from financial operations to marketing and equipment maintenance. Hall uses data-driven decision-making to optimize operations, scheduling, and coverage areas while maintaining safety protocols when spraying customer-provided chemicals.

In addition to his FFA activities, Hall is active in his community and focuses on growing his business, setting goals such as expanding his coverage area to 17,000 acres by 2025, acquiring two new larger drones, and partnering with over 40 customers. His long-term goal is to offer real-time crop health data services and to continue developing a reputable name in the agricultural services industry.

Hall plans to attend the University of Missouri to pursue a degree in agribusiness. He intends to use his education and SAE experience to further expand Hall Ag Services and provide innovative aerial application solutions for farmers across Northeast Missouri while returning to manage and expand his family farm.

Proficiency awards recognize FFA members who excel as agricultural entrepreneurs, employees or volunteers while gaining hands-on career experience. Agricultural Services is one of 45 proficiency award areas recognized at the state level. Vivayic sponsors this award.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
