COLUMBIA, Mo., April 23, 2025—The North Shelby FFA Chapter won the FFA Knowledge leadership development event at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention. There were 52 teams in the competition.
The team members are Cooper Belt, Kale Pollard, Jayli Rosendale, and Domenic Williams. Belt placed first, Pollard placed fifth, Rosendale placed seventh and Williams placed seventh out of 93 participants. The North Shelby FFA advisors are Tim Davis, Jenny Bradley, and Harold Eckler.
Knowledge teams spend hours studying for the 100-question test covering FFA history and information about the National FFA Organization.
Sponsored by the Missouri Army National Guard and Missouri Army ROTC, this contest is one of many ways the FFA prepares student members for career success. LDEs engage students in learning and make a real connection to lifetime goals.
The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
