COLUMBIA, Mo., April 24, 2025 — The Troy FFA Chapter won the FFA agricultural issues forum leadership development event at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention.
Teams in the agricultural issues forum LDE create a presentation focused on an important agricultural issue faced by their community. Team members give their presentation at least five times to community organizations before competing in the event.
Sponsored by the Army ROTC, this event is one of many ways the FFA prepares student members for career success. LDEs engage student learning and make a real connection to lifetime goals.
The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
