Stockhorst receives Honorary State FFA Degree

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 25, 2025 – Lisa Stockhorst was honored with the Honorary State FFA Degree during the 97th Missouri FFA Convention, recognizing her continued dedication and service to agricultural education and Missouri FFA.
A former Missouri FFA member from 2000 to 2004 and participant in the Hickman High School Dairy Cow Judging team, Stockhorst has remained actively engaged in supporting the FFA organization. Since 2018, she has served as an Administrative Assistant at the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, where she plays a vital role in assisting with FFA event setup and program facilitation both at the MCA office and throughout the state.
The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary FFA Degree include farmers, school superintendents, principals, members of the board of education, chapter advisors, teachers, staff members in agricultural education, business professionals, and others who are helping to advance agricultural education and the FFA.
The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
