COLUMBIA, Mo., April 25, 2025 – The Missouri FFA association awarded Jade Jenkins an Honorary State FFA Degree at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention.

Jenkins, an Agricultural Instructor at State Fair Community College, has deep roots in FFA and agriculture education. A former Area 6 and chapter FFA officer, she competed at the state level and won the Missouri State Fair Ewe Show four times. She’s taught high school and college agriculture courses, coaches livestock judging, co-owns Jenkins Market, and serves as the post-secondary representative on the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary State FFA Degree include farmers, school superintendents, principals, business professionals, and others who are helping to advance agriculture education and the FFA.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
