COLUMBIA, Mo., April 25, 2025 – The Missouri FFA Association named Jason Davis, an Honorary State FFA Degree recipient at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention.

Davis serves as an agricultural education instructor and FFA advisor, with a career spanning over two decades. A member of FFA since 1997, he continued his involvement through collegiate-level participation and served as a state FFA officer from 2001 to 2002.

In his time serving in these positions, he has guided over 150 students to earn their State FFA Degrees and supported more than 80 in achieving their American FFA Degrees. Additionally, he has mentored numerous beginning teachers, with five former students now serving as agriculture educators within his region. Davis has also held multiple terms as a Northeast District FFA officer to guide and support his district.

The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary FFA Degree include farmers, school superintendents, principals, members of the board of education, chapter advisors, teachers, staff members in agricultural education, business professionals and others who are helping to advance agricultural education and the FFA.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
