COLUMBIA, Mo., April 25, 2025 – The Missouri FFA association awarded Jill Brown an Honorary State FFA degree at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention.
Brown is an Assistant Vice President of Northwest Advancement at Northwest Missouri State University, has supported FFA for over 20 years. A former Nebraska State Officer and American Degree recipient, she mentored students in speaking contests and helped launch the Career Closet to provide free professional clothing to Northwest students and FFA members in Northwest Missouri.
The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary State FFA Degree include farmers, school superintendents, principals, business professionals, and others who are helping to advance agriculture education and the FFA.
The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
