Missouri FFA recognizes Animal Systems Agriscience Fair award winners

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 24, 2025 — The Missouri FFA Association recognizes members who executed research in an agricultural area in the Agriscience Fair at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention. This award honors students who participated in a research-based supervised agricultural experience program.

This area involves the study of animal systems, including life processes, health, nutrition, genetics, management and processing, through the study of small animals, aquaculture, livestock, dairy, horses and poultry. FMC Financial is the sponsor of this award.

 

The Division 3 winner is Alton Tellman from the Tuscumbia FFA Chapter. The chapter advisor is Sara White.

The Division 4 winners are Jaden and Jensen Decker from the Centralia FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Rylee Williamson, Scott Stone and Kendra Smith.

The Division 5 winner is Loghan Wolfe from the Eldon FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Jacob Blank, Colleen Abbott and Justin Asher.

The Division 6 winners are Liliana Robinson and Lesley Cobb from the Bernie FFA Chapter. The chapter advisor is Matt Blevins.

 

The National FFA Agriscience Fair allows students to engage in the use of scientific principles and emerging technologies as a solution to complex issues related to agriculture, food and natural resource systems.

The Missouri Agriscience Fair winners will compete in the National FFA Agriscience Fair. Winners will be announced this fall at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
