Missouri FFA recognizes Social Science Agriscience Fair award winners

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 24, 2025—The Missouri FFA Association recognized members who executed research in an agricultural area in the Agriscience Fair at the 97th Missouri FFA Convention. This award area honors students who participated in a research-based supervised agricultural experience (SAE).

This area involves the study of agricultural education, agribusiness, agricultural communication, agricultural leadership and sales in agriculture, food and natural resources. FMC Financial is the sponsor of this award.

The Division 3 winner is Brody Swindler from the Carrollton Area Career Center FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Megan Kiser and Brooke Swindler.

The Division 4 winners are Ethan Pearce and Samuel Alvarez from the Milan FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Logan Fullerton and Jarred Sayre.

The Division 5 winner is Addison Rogers from the Pleasant Hope FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Zach Funk and David Parrack.

The Division 6 winners are Lucy Conger and Isabel Morris from the Rolla FFA Chapter. The chapter advisors are Randy Stockstill and Cord Jenkins.

The National FFA Agriscience Fair allows students to engage in the use of scientific principles and emerging technologies as a solution to complex issues related to agriculture, food and natural resource systems.

The Missouri Agriscience Fair winners will compete in the National FFA Agriscience Fair. Winners will be announced this fall at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.

The Missouri FFA has 26,900 members representing 365 chapters. The national organization has more than 1,027,273 members representing 9,235 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
