Robinson of the Republic FFA Chapter named State FFA Vice President

COLUMBIA Mo., April 19, 2024 – During the 96th Missouri FFA Convention, Emma Robinson was named a 2024-2025 State FFA Vice President. Robinson is a member of the Republic FFA Chapter. Her parents are Heather Rock and Andrew Robinson. Her advisors are Cody Stewart, Alec Hagan and Duane Melton.
Robisnon’s supervised agricultural experience program consists of selecting market swine to facilitate a feeder pig operation to then market those swine for retail sale. She develops customized feed rations to ensure quality meat products for her consumers. Robinson established Sac River Meat Market which has gained popularity within the community as a result of her focus on the customer satisfaction and her ability to assist in the farm-to-table effort. In addition to her business, Robinson works alongside her FFA advisors to gain experience in the field of agricultural education.
During her FFA career, Robinson served as the Republic junior president, first vice president and president. She has also served the Area XII Association as the president.
Robinson has competed in the FFA Knowledge Contest and the Agricultural Issues Forum Leadership Development Events. Also competing in the parliamentary procedure contest area, her team was ranked fourth in the state competition. In addition, Robinson has competed in the Missouri Pork Producers Speaking Contest where she placed first at districts and competed at the state competition.
In addition to the FFA, Robinson serves on the Student Lighthouse Team where she works alongside school administration. She has participated on the varsity softball team as well as serving as an ambassador for the Missouri Pork Association. She is a member of the Sac River Cowboy Church.
After graduating, Robinson plans to attend Crowder College to pursue a degree in agriculture to then transfer to Missouri State University where she will work towards a degree in agricultural education. She hopes to become an educator within the field of agriculture while continuing to grow her small business.
The Missouri FFA has 26,830 members representing 362 chapters. The national organization has more than 945,000 members representing 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
