Reinke is state winner in agricultural communications proficiency award area

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 18, 2024 – Savannah Reinke of Malta Bend won the Missouri FFA Agricultural Communications Proficiency Award at the 96th Missouri FFA Convention.
Reinke, a graduate of Carrollton R-VII High School, is the daughter of David and Michele Reinke. She is a member of the Carrollton Area Career Center FFA Chapter. Her advisors are Megan Kiser and Brooke Swindler.
Reinke’s supervised agricultural experience involved working at KMZU. She leads as the Saturday Night News Anchor for the station.
As an FFA member, Reinke served as a chapter officer and received her Missouri FFA State Leadership Medal in 2020. Outside of FFA, Reinke is a Future Business Leaders of America and a student council member.
After graduating high school, Reinke now attends St. Cloud University in Minnesota and studies agricultural communications with a double minor in marketing and graphic design.
Proficiency awards recognize FFA members who excel as agricultural entrepreneurs, employees or volunteers while gaining hands-on career experience. Agricultural communications is one of 46 proficiency award areas recognized at the state level. Missouri FFA Foundation sponsored this award.
The Missouri FFA has 26,830 members representing 362 chapters. The national organization has more than 945,000 members representing 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
