COLUMBIA, Mo., April 18, 2024 — The Troy FFA Chapter won the FFA parliamentary procedure leadership development event at the 96th Missouri FFA Convention.

Troy team members are Catie Henke, Nina Momphard, Aubrey Hessling, Emma Shaffer, Addison Kemper and Grant Jacobsmeyer. Troy FFA advisors are Kaylee Lower, Rob Calvin and Matt McCrory.

Grand River Technical School sponsors the state event, which consists of both a written test and a demonstration that tests the team’s knowledge of parliamentary law based on Robert’s Rules of Order. This event is one of many ways the FFA prepares student members for career success and make a real connection to lifetime goals.

The Missouri FFA has 26,830 members representing 362 chapters. The national organization has more than 945,000 members representing 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
