Grosse receives Honorary State FFA Degree

COLUMBIA, Mo., April 19, 2024- The Missouri FFA Association awarded Lisa R. Grosse an Honorary State FFA Degree at the 96th Missouri FFA Convention. 

Grosse has been an ag education instructor for 18 years. She has taught at Hermann High School and Montgomery County R-II High School. Grosse is a former Camp Rising Sun committee member and is currently serving as Camp Rising Sun kitchen supervisor. She retired from education in June 2020 after serving the Montgomery County R-II School District as assistant principal.

The Missouri FFA Association recognizes Honorary State FFA Degree recipients for their valuable efforts and contributions to the FFA organization and its members. Those eligible to receive the Honorary FFA Degree include farmers, school superintendents, principles, members of the board of education, business professionals, teachers, staff members in agricultural education, business professionals and others who are helping to advance agricultural education and the FFA. 

The Missouri FFA has 26,830 members representing 362 chapters. The national organization has more than 945,000 members representing 9,163 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
