Jung of Perryville FFA Chapter named State FFA Vice President

COLUMBIA Mo., April 21, 2022 – During the 94th Missouri FFA Convention, Aubrey Jung was named the 2022-2023 State FFA Vice President. Jung is a member of the Perryville FFA Chapter. Her parents are Gregory and Angela Jung of Perryville. Her advisors are Jamie Miller and Mike Zoellner. 

Jung’s supervised agricultural experience program consists of beef production placement, agricultural communications and agricultural education. In Jung’s beef production placement SAE, she works on her family farm to raise Simmental and Red Angus beef cattle. She won Area 15 proficiency awards in her beef production placement and agricultural communications SAE projects. 

During her FFA career, Jung served as Area 15 vice president, chapter vice president and secretary. 

Jung competed in the FFA knowledge leadership development event and the dairy foods career development event. She was named Chapter Star Greenhand and participated in the Missouri Farm Bureau Public Speaking Contest. Jung earned her State FFA Degree in 2021 during her junior year of high school. 

In addition to FFA, Jung was an active member of National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 4-H and the Junior Red Angus Association. She also participated in varsity volleyball, track and field, and served as captain of the basketball team. 

After graduating high school, Jung plans to attend Missouri State University- Springfield. She plans to study agricultural education and hopes to return to her home district one day to teach agriculture and become an FFA advisor. 

The Missouri FFA has 25,626 members representing 353 chapters. The national organization has more than 735,000 members representing 8,817 chapters in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
